Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 14th, 2026

Welcome to URLert Discuss! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the URLert Discuss community platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

URLert Discuss is a community-driven reputation platform anchored to web domains. It allows users to share experiences, report incidents, and discuss domain safety. The Service is intended to provide human context to automated security data.

2. Community Contributions

When you post content to URLert Discuss, you are contributing to a collective security database.

  • Honesty & Accuracy: You agree to share truthful experiences. Submitting false reports or misleading information to damage a domain's reputation is a violation of these Terms.
  • Focus: Content should remain relevant to domain safety, specifically regarding scams, phishing, brand impersonation, and typo-squatting.
  • Bias & Manipulation: We prohibit coordinated efforts to manipulate domain scores or sentiment. Platforms are often plagued by bias; we reserve the right to remove content that we determine, in our sole discretion, is part of a manipulation campaign or contains extreme, non-constructive bias.

3. AI & Human Moderation

To maintain the integrity of our communication and the quality of the intelligence provided:

  • AI Gatekeeper: All submissions undergo automated AI analysis before becoming public. We use an "AI Gatekeeper" to filter out spam, off-topic content, and technical manipulation.
  • Moderation Authority: URLert reserves the right to remove, edit, or hold any content for review without prior notice if it violates these Terms or our community standards.
  • Pending State: You acknowledge that your posts may not appear instantly and are subject to verification.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

  • To harass, abuse, or threaten other users or site owners.
  • To submit content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • To attempt to bypass our security measures, including Altcha or rate limiting systems.
  • To systematically scrape or harvest community intelligence for commercial use without permission.

5. Intellectual Property & Data Usage

By submitting content to the Service, you grant URLert a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content as part of the URLert ecosystem (including the main URLert threat intelligence engine).

Commercial Restrictions: The community-sourced data on URLert Discuss is proprietary. You may not use this data for commercial purposes, including training AI models or building competing security products, without an official API license or written agreement from URLert.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." URLert does not warrant the accuracy of community-submitted content. Community experiences are subjective and should be used as one of many data points when evaluating domain safety. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, URLert shall not be liable for any damages resulting from your use of the community platform or reliance on community-submitted intelligence.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
